Don Levin is Faculty Speaker at Marygrove College Baccalaureate

On Thursday, May 10, 2012, Donald Levin was the faculty speaker at the Marygrove College baccalaureate mass in honor of the graduating class of 2012.

He was asked to respond to the reading for the evening, Luke 4:14-21. As his response, Levin composed an original sequence of poems for the occasion. See the Poetry link on this site for a complete text of the poems.

The poem that Professor Levin resited at Marygrove’s Commencement was out standing, touching and hit home for someone that grew up around Eight Mile Road. It was special because my son graduated this year. My entire family loved the poem….thank You Dr. Levin for making this very special.
